Before your first dispensary visit
What people ask at the counter, answered before you drive over. Anything about one store, its parking or its neighborhood lives on that store’s own page.
- When are the stores open?
- Hours differ by store. Each store page lists them and the date they were last verified.
- Do I need an ID to shop?
- Yes. Bring a valid government photo ID showing you are 21 or older. Adults 18 and older can shop with a valid medical recommendation and their ID.
- How do I pay?
- Debit and cash at every store. Credit cards generally do not work for cannabis purchases in California, which is a card-network rule rather than a store choice.
- How much can I buy in a day?
- California adult-use limits are 28.5 grams of flower and 8 grams of concentrate per day. The purchase-limits guide in the Learn library explains how a mixed basket counts against both.
- Which stores deliver?
- Our own drivers deliver from Belmont. San Francisco, Santa Rosa and Ukiah are pickup only. Zones, minimums and fees are listed on each delivering store's pages.
- Can I order ahead?
- Yes. Pick your store, order from its menu, and wait for the ready notification before heading over. Bring the ID that matches the name on the order and pay at the counter.
About our California cannabis dispensaries
Cannavine runs 4 licensed cannabis dispensaries in Northern California: downtown San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Ukiah and Belmont on the Peninsula, where the store trades as NUG Cannavine. Each holds its own state retail licence, printed on its page and in the footer, and each is open seven days.
Every store runs the same way. Order ahead on the live menu and pickup is usually bagged in about 20 minutes; the last pickup order goes in 15 minutes before close. Belmont also delivers with our own drivers, to the Peninsula towns listed above and nowhere else. Everything on the shelf came through a licensed distributor, lab tested by batch, and the certificate of analysis for any product is at the counter if you ask.
